This Powershift
remote button shifter system is electro-mechanical and therefore does not require
any compressed air bottles or hoses like an air shifter system.
The unique shifter is a linear actuator design (not solenoid)
incorporating a DC motor, spinning up at 25,000 RPM, planetary
gearbox, lead screw arrangement and operates on a PWM (Pulse
Width Modulation) drive system for total control and longevity.
The Powershift
ECU requires a single ignition-on wire to be attached to a suitable
ignition-on supply, like a head light or brake light +12volt
supply wire. There are 2 ring terminal wires,
battery positive and battery negative, that are simply placed
on the battery terminals.
The `F' series Powershift ECU is mounted underneath the
fuel tank where it is out of sight to retain the clean lines of the
bike.
The CNC handle
bar bracket is mounted under the left hand switch gear mouldings.
The Powershift Harley Davidson push button gear shifter requires attaching
between the gear selector lever and the chassis/frame via
the supplied mounting bolt.
